Sticks + Stones Furniture is a multiple award-winning company in British Columbia specializing in unique, custom-built and lovingly handcrafted furniture that showcases wood and concrete designs. The company was the 2014 winner of the 18th annual IIDA/HD Product Design Competition, hosted by the International Interior Design Association.
The winner of the IIDA award for Best Product Design in the Outdoor Seating category was Sticks + Stones’ newest signature piece, the Social Circle. The new Social Circle Firepit is a versatile and low-profile concrete piece that sits up to six people comfortably on beautiful western cedar and can be installed both indoors or out.
The competition was announced in February 2014 and judging took place in May. Only exhibitors at HD Expo 2014 were eligible to submit product entries. Winning products, manufacturers, and designers are featured on IIDA’s website and published in Hospitality Design.
