Aztec is presenting their latest innovation: the new Spray Mist Skirt for the Aztec UltraGrind. Aztec specifically designed this spray skirt to operate at 1000psi with the appropriate nozzle size. This generates both the optimal quantity and size to effectively trap dust particles that would otherwise escape traditional dust control systems. Misted water droplets knock down the dust particles, containing them on the floor without creating a slurry.
Whit Beverly, President of Aztec Products, said, “We are really proud of this new system. Other manufacturers have a spray nozzle here and a spray nozzle there on their grinders, but Aztec gave the spray skirt designer ‘carte-blanche’ to put spray nozzles wherever they would be most effective in containing the dust from concrete grinding and polishing. The result is the most complete and effective spray skirt in the industry.”
Alan Staples, General Manager of Pumptec, Inc, says “It is exciting to support Aztec with the best high-pressure pumping solution that addresses this serious industry concern.”
The new spray skirt will be a standard feature on the Aztec UltraGrind. It is also available for hands-on demo at the World of Concrete 2020 show in Las Vegas, February 4-7. Visit Aztec’s outdoor booth #O-40843 in the Silver Decorative Concrete lot to see the UltraGrind and the rest of Aztec’s concrete and terrazzo polishing machines.
