First Images of Finished Concrete Art at SAY Si in San Antonio

A river was stained on this concrete patio at the entrance of the facility.

SAY Si, a teen art center in San Antonio, Texas, is getting a decorative concrete makeover courtesy of the Concrete Decor Show, a trade event affiliated with Concrete Decor magazine. The trade show is more than a month away, but work is already underway — and here’s your first look at some finished concrete art at the center.

Words were engraved and painted onto the concrete to inspire those who enter.

The photos were sent to us by Trevor Foster, a Miracote trainer who has been helping direct efforts at the center.

More SAY Si art will be created during workshops at the Show, which will take place Feb. 20-24. You can see more photos and keep up with the project at Concrete Decor Magazine’s Facebook page.

Detailed flowers were artfully placed on the concrete with concrete products and produced by students and professionals alike.
